MerMay 2018

In celebration of MerMay!

This was at first a small sketch for Mother's Day, but I decided to take it further. I wanted to capture the warmth and relationship between the MerMother and Child, even at the bottom of the cold ocean floor. A school of fish were added, tickling the belly and tail of the little mer-child, that though the two only have each other, they are not alone. This was a fun one!
